What you will do
- Design and develop server-side stateless services and web clients
- Test software for functional accuracy and for non-functional criteria such as responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and update software
- Apply object-oriented design principles and industry standards
- Convert business requirements into deployable code
What you will need
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics and Communication
- Degree from one of the top 100 colleges in the NIRF engineering rankings for 2021, 2022 or 2023
- Three to seven years in software development
- At least two to five years in product development or large enterprise applications
Skills we are looking for
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, UML and domain-driven design
- Core Java design patterns, with hands-on Java EE experience
- Microservices architecture implemented with Spring Boot
- Hands-on RESTful web development
- Relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle
- Professional software engineering practice across the full lifecycle, including coding standards, code review and source control with Git
Added advantage
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to GraphQL
- NoSQL experience: MongoDB, Cassandra or Oracle NoSQL DB
- Working knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment
What you will do
- Identify a bank's pain points and propose solutions
- Design functional solution documents and user stories
- Test user stories for stakeholder acceptance
- Maintain the product backlog and its collaterals
- Monitor regulatory changes that affect the solution
- Coordinate with development, test, implementation and customer teams
- Act as subject matter expert for your functional areas
- Run demos, presentations and product workshops
What you will need
- Engineering or management degree, or Chartered Accountant
- Four to eight years of experience
Skills we are looking for
- Business analysis in retail banking, in product development or implementation
- Expertise across payments, CIF, account origination, pricing, and deposit or lending servicing
- Requirement gathering, requirements documentation and change management
- Strong grounding in banking practice across retail banking
- Good understanding of the tools used to document requirements
- Strong analytical and reasoning ability
- Able to communicate independently with development and testing teams
Added advantage
- Core banking development or implementation: FLEXCUBE, Finacle or BaNCS
- UX principles and design philosophy
- A techno-functional background
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Agile methodology
- Knowledge of what is being tried in banking innovation
What you will do
- Partner with product management and engineering on component, integration and end-to-end tests
- Work with the business analyst team to understand functionality and devise the test strategy
- Create detailed test scenarios and cases from user stories
- Execute test cases, report results and log defects in JIRA
- Run regression testing once defects are resolved
What you will need
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, IT, computer applications (BCA / MCA), management or commerce
- Five to ten years as a functional tester, as an individual contributor
- At least four years in the retail banking domain
Skills we are looking for
- Deep functional knowledge of account origination, payment networks (IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, UPI), CIF, account servicing or pricing and fees
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and interest or tax calculations
- Experience developing test strategy and test plans
- SQL with Oracle or MySQL
- Understanding of the traceability matrix, in concept and in practice
Added advantage
- Experience in a bank branch, operations, compliance, audit or IT
- Automation framework testing, and API testing with Postman
- Accessibility testing
- Agile and scrum methodologies
- Cloud deployment experience
